Scott Pollock - Partner
Mr. Pollock has 12 years of success in venture capital, private equity and operations and finance. Has lead companies through hands-on turnarounds and built operating infrastructures through times of rapid growth, recapitalizations and IPOs. A Founder of B4 Ventures, he has significant experience structuring and negotiating private equity and venture capital transactions while providing value add to the firm's diversified portfolio companies. Mr. Pollock holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska with additional under-graduate studies completed at Oxford University. He completed the Executive Education Private Equity series at the Harvard Business School.
Carl Karnes - Partner
Mr. Karnes has 14 years of years of success in the investment banking industry with the firms Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, Rotan Mosle and PaineWebber holding positions of Vice President. Three years of success as an entrepreneur starting, growing, and selling a marketing company. A Founder of B4 Ventures, he has considerable experience starting, marketing and managing venture capital funds. Mr. Karnes holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Economics from Oklahoma State University.
Matt Milstead - Senior Advisor
Mr. Milstead has spent nearly 20 years in leadership roles for an array of companies with domestic US and international operations. He has considerable experience in entrepreneur start-up and early stage growth companies spanning such industries as commercial real estate development, retail, construction, trade, and telecommunications. He has sat on the Board of a multitude of companies and held positions including those of President and CEO. Has successfully lead several companies through financial and operational restructurings. Mr. Milstead holds an Engineering degree from Virginia Tech and a Masters from George Washington University in Administration.
Patrick Antaki
Mr. Patrick Antaki has 24 years’ experience as an entrepreneur and engineer, having founded or materially assisted in the founding of nine technology start-up companies. He has consulted on technical matters of electronics, computer design and communications to companies such as IBM, Honeywell, HP, DSC, Texas Instruments, Compaq, and others. Patrick participated as a Skeleton athlete in the Winter Olympic Games of 2006 in Turin, Italy. He received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT in 1984, and founded and managed for eight years the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum. Patrick holds 4 patents and has numerous others pending.
